The landing pages report shows sessions, conversions, revenue, and spend per entry page — the page a visit started on, not every page it touched. Open it for traffic quality questions: which pages convert the traffic you buy, and which ones take the click and lose the visitor.

The tabs

Six tabs, working the same way as the other reports: tick pages on one tab and the tabs below narrow to them. Select two pages, move to Campaigns, and you are looking at the campaigns that sent traffic to those pages.

Reading it

A page with heavy sessions and thin conversions is the useful finding here, and it splits two ways:
  • High spend, low conversion. You are buying traffic into a page that does not close. That is a landing page problem.
  • Low spend, low conversion. Organic or referral traffic arriving somewhere that was never built to convert. Often a blog post, and often fine.
Because the entry page is resolved from the session’s start, a checkout page will rarely appear here. It is where visits end, not where they begin.
