# What Soran AI can see

> The data the assistant can reach, and the data it cannot.

Soran AI does not have open access to your data. It works through a fixed set of
ten tools, and it is scoped to the property you are looking at.

## What it can read

| Tool | Reads |
| - | - |
| `read_overview` | Headline numbers: orders, revenue, AOV, sessions, conversion rate, ad spend, new customers, plus a daily series. |
| `read_attribution` | The attribution report, by channel, campaign, ad set, or ad. |
| `read_products` | The products report, per product, variant, or SKU. |
| `read_landing_pages` | The landing pages report, per entry page. |
| `read_taxonomy` | Which events and properties your data actually contains. |
| `list_goals` | Your goals. |

## What it can change

Four of the ten tools write, and all four concern goals:

* `create_goal`, `update_goal`, and `delete_goal` change your goal definitions.
* `navigate` moves you to a screen. It changes what you are looking at, not your
  data.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Because goals define what every report counts, asking Soran AI to change a
> goal changes your reporting. It is a real edit, not a suggestion.

## Scope

Every tool is bound to the current property. The assistant cannot read another
property's data, another organization's data, or anything outside these tools —
it has no access to raw events, your Shopify admin, or your ad accounts beyond
the spend already synced into reports.
