# Limits

> Where the assistant stops, and what to do instead.

Soran AI is bounded by its ten tools and by the property you are in. Knowing
where it stops saves you asking twice.

## What it cannot do

**Reach anything outside its tools.** No raw event stream, no Shopify admin, no
ad platform beyond spend already synced into your reports.

**Cross properties.** It answers for the property you are looking at. For a
portfolio question, ask in each property.

**Change anything but goals.** It can create, edit, and delete goals, and it can
navigate. It cannot connect a source, edit your costs, or set up a destination.

**Report what was never collected.** If your theme embed is off, the assistant
will faithfully tell you that you have very few pageviews. The answer is correct
and the cause is upstream.

## When to check its work

Ask which report an answer came from, then open it. The assistant reads the same
engine as the screens, so a number it gives you is reproducible — and
reproducing it is the fastest way to find that a period or model was not what you
assumed.
