# Shopify

> Connect your store for orders, products, and customers.

Shopify is the fullest integration Soran has. Connecting a store brings in
orders, products, and customers, and installs tracking at the same time.

once it is running.

## What tracking you get, and from where

Two separate mechanisms, and the distinction matters when something is missing:

| Checkout and thank-you page | Soran, automatically during authorization | Purchases |
| Storefront | You, by switching on the theme app embed | Pageviews, product views, cart actions |

> A store with the theme embed off still records purchases, so it looks
> connected while most of the funnel is missing. If your conversion rates look
> impossible, check the embed before anything else.

## Do not also paste the snippet

The theme app embed replaces the install snippet. Running both counts every page
twice.
