# Display currency

> How Soran reports money when your data has more than one currency.

Every property has one reporting currency, chosen when you create it. All money
in that property's reports is shown in it, whatever currency the underlying
orders and ad spend arrived in.

## How conversion works

Orders can arrive in any currency. Soran converts each amount using the rate for
the day that order happened, not today's rate, so a report on last quarter does
not move because the exchange rate moved this morning.

## When a rate is missing

If Soran cannot find a rate for a currency in the period you are looking at, it
**hides the money in that report rather than showing a number it cannot stand
behind**.

Counts are unaffected. Conversions, orders, and coverage figures do not depend on
currency, so they stay correct and visible while the money is withheld.
