# Billing

> How Soran bills a store.

Billing is per store. Each property starts with its own free month, and a
Shopify store connected through Soran's Shopify app is then billed through
Shopify, on the store's own Shopify invoice. One Shopify subscription covers
every property in your organization that tracks the same store.

Card details are handled by Shopify and never reach Soran.

## Choosing a plan

Open **Billing** from the workspace menu, or from **Settings** under
Property. It appears only for a store billed through Shopify. Select
**Subscribe in Shopify**. Shopify asks you to approve the charge and
then returns you to Soran. While the free trial runs, the billing screen shows
the date it ends, and you won't be charged before then.

When a store has no active plan and its trial has ended, its screens open on
Billing until you subscribe.

## Cancelling

Select **Cancel plan** on the billing screen, then pick a short reason for
cancelling. Shopify ends the subscription right
away and credits the unused days of the period to your Shopify bill. Every
property the plan covers then needs a new plan to keep using Soran, unless it is
still inside its own free trial.

Only the organization owner can subscribe or cancel. Other members see the plan
read-only.
